Lagoon Cove is a full service marina located at the north end of East Cracroft Island, just southeast of the Broughton Archipelago in British Columbia’s pristine northern waters. Whether you’re making a quick rest stop during a longer adventure or settling in for a few days, you’ll find well-protected moorage, warm hospitality, and stunning westerly views over the coastal wilderness.

Lagoon Cove sits just southeast of the Broughton Archipelago—a perfect destination all its own or an ideal rest stop during a longer cruise. The marina is well protected on all sides, and its westerly view toward the cove entrance serves up beautiful sunsets, rainbows, and regular sightings of seals, porpoise, orcas, and humpbacks.

The property consists of 154 beautifully timbered acres and 3,000 feet of rocky shoreline. It’s home to a variety of birds, bear, mink, and otter. Boaters are welcome to stretch their legs on one of four hiking trails that meander through the property.

Things to Do

Stroll & Play

Walk up to the main house and beyond to admire the gardens, fruit trees, and berry bushes. The “backyard” is home to our lawn games—play Corn Hole, Ping Pong, and Free Roam Bocce.

Work It Out

Need a little exercise? You can hike our trail system which can take you on a short loop, or a more extensive tour of the property. Maps are available in the office.

Potluck Sundowns

Each evening through Sep. 7th, we host a potluck appetizer happy hour on the deck of the workshop. Each boat brings a small dish to share and, with any luck, a small bowl of spot prawns will be one of the dishes. The patio in front of the historic workshop is a great place for boaters to mingle over appetizers.

Lagoon Cove sits on the northwest side of East Cracroft Island, where ancient forests meet the sea. Accessible only by boat or float plane, our little corner of the the world offers the kind of peace you can only find when you’re miles from the nearest road.

Lagoon Cove is one of a kind. The uniqueness is due to the owners, Dan & Kelly. Our first visit here and to the Broughtons was in 2020, and we have been coming back every year since. I look forward to happy hour (s) and try to plan something new to bring to it every year. It’s fun to see people get so excited over the HUGE bowl of peel and eat prawns supplied by our hosts. Kelly actually mixes a fresh bowl of homemade seafood sauce every night! If you are heading to the Broughtons, this is a destination not to be missed. New in 2026

We’ve been busy around here! We’ll have a new pier and happy hour deck ready to go this season. Our fuel lines have been updated and replaced. During the summer of 2025, we added a new 40KW generator to the mix, which gives us more reliable power for everyone. There are always lots of little changes and updates every year, but these big new additions should really stand out when you visit. See you soon!
